Trama:

Seventeen-year-old Katie Price has a rare disease that makes exposure to even the smallest amount of sunlight deadly. Confined to her house during the day, her company is limited to her widowed father and her best (okay, only) friend. It isn't until after nightfall that Katie's world opens up, when she takes her guitar to the local train station and plays for the people coming and going.

Charlie Reed is a former all-star athlete at a crossroads in his life - and the boy Katie has secretly admired from afar for years. When he happens upon her playing guitar one night, fate intervenes and the two embark on a star-crossed romance.

As they challenge each other to chase their dreams and fall for each other under the summer night sky, Katie and Charlie form a bond strong enough to change them - and everyone around them - forever.

My opinion:

⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm gonna try with my first review in English...

I've read this book a couple of days ago and already haven't decided if I liked it or not.
In my opinion this is not a romance book, anyway not in the regolar way. I liked the love story between the two protagonists but I think the real love story in this book is between the girl and her father.
I loved the relationship between father and daughter. That is simply amazing, lovely and touching! I mean this is the focus of the book. A teenager who have this kind of connection with her father is very emotional. And her father is simply one of the best parents you'll can ever imagine.
Talking about this part of the story I mean the book deserve 5 stars.
But the rest is.. I don't now. I haven't found it so special.

I've also liked the friendship between the protagonist and her best friend, but that's marginal in the story.
The love story is the real problem. It is normal, nothing of unforgettable. Nothing that make your heart pounding. Nothing new.

The author made a good job with the end, that's not real bad. But I like another kind of end when I read this kind of book.

Finally I can say I liked the book but not for the cause this's proposed.
